With Selemene's Favor and Stars align, you can pretty much substract 2 to 4 from spell costs of these cards. You would be playing 8 cost cards from turn 2 and 9 costs from turn three. In artifact, the power of cards grows exponentially, meaning a 6 cost card is much better than a 5 cost card. So playing these big cards with Aghanim's Sanctum, Satyr Magician, Incarnation of Selemene gives you massive advantage over your opponents. In the 20 games I played with this deck, I lost 3 games. This deck can be defeated by black eco decks, as helm of dominator and slay destroys the big creeps you put on the board. No other color is able to stand against this deck, simply because this deck starts clearing out enemy heroes from turn 2. Mono blue? Good luck staying in lane even for a turn. Green/ Red? This deck doesn't need ramping up. You start at 3 mana, this deck starts at 7 mana.
How to play this deck:
1. Rix is needed because you need green hero to play selemene's Favor early game. If your green is dead for two turns, you hit the power spike much later. The win condition for this deck is to draw either Stars align/ Aghanim's Sanctum/ Selemene's Favor by end of turn 2 (foresight in first two lanes work). 25% of your deck is these cards. If you draw two of these in the 7 cards you draw in your first two turns, you win, no questions (expected value = 0.25 * 7 = 1.75 cards). If not, games gets harder, but still winnable.
2. Don't worry if your towers are below 20HP by end of turn 3. Once you get your setup online, game is over. By turn 3 you should be almost ready with your thunderstorm, Thundergod's wrath, Thunderide Pack and next run incarnation or alpha.
3. Buy revtel rings to delay opponent's helm for as long as possible, as that item will ruin you. Seraphim's Shield is great as you are not affected by -2. Your damage to tower is dealt by Thunderide guys.
4. You can try to take the ancient in one lane, I won 40% of my games that way. Those monsters hits hard.
